A brief bit of normality

The sun came out and off we went. Welcome to the new normal.

Our very first glimpse of a restarting world was a visit to the outdoor gardens at the Eden Project. Whilst shut away from visitors the flowers have bloomed and the wildlife thrived (whilst there we spoke to a visitor who had seen a fawn on one of the paths down from the car park). We settled for busy bees and stunning butterflies.

We had booked online days earlier and found the experience calm and organised. The children still ran and roses were sniffed. Families sat on the grass eating ice cream the now obligatory 2m apart. All felt strangely quiet but enjoyable as ever.

We will most definitely return.

Thank you Eden.
